About The Hotel California
At the center of Todos Santos is the legendary and colorful Hotel California. Originally built in 1947 this unique hotel underwent a masterful renovation in 2001 that would go on to win numerous awards for design and décor. The original 16 rooms were transformed into the eclectic 11-suite hotel it is today. Located right at the entrance to the city's historic old town, Hotel California serves as a major hub and meeting place in Todos Santos. Its lively, warm and welcoming environment makes it a popular spot with locals and visitors alike.
The Palapa Society
The Palapa Society of Todos Santos, A.C., founded in 2003, is a multi-cultural, non-profit Mexican Civil Association. The Palapa Society runs a variety of programs to benefit the local children and their families. Programs include English classes, swimming safety, college scholarships, medical expense assistance to name a few. These goals can be summed up in their mission statement, "We consider children to be the most precious resource of all and are working to improve the quality of their lives. We believe the secret to the future of this pueblo, and the promise for a better world for all, resides in the education and welfare of our children.
Todos Santos is a sub tropical oasis overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Baja California Sur. Near the tip of Mexico's Baja peninsula it is the kind of place adventurous travelers fall in love with almost immediately. Besides the colonial architecture, cobblestone streets, and fantastic food and art scene, this picturesque gem of Mexico enjoys pure air, a pristine ocean, and an excellent climate with temperatures averaging 75-85F degrees year round. In 2006, Todos Santos was officially designated a Pueblo Magico. Located just 45 miles North of Cabo San Lucas on the Pacific side of Baja, Todos Santos can be reached via either the San Jose Del Cabo Airport (SJD) or the La Paz Airport (LAP).
